About

The evening is hosted by Mark Rose-Christie, who is the creator & owner of Mystery Ghost Productions, and well-known as South Africa's celebrity paranormalist, illusionist and psychologist, who also presents credible scientific explanations by way of quantum physics, and the latest scientific findings in parapsychology.

The evening is held at an Event Venue in various areas, ranging from bushy quiet areas behind a restaurant to farms, and from country holiday resorts to nature reserves - all sorts of atmospheric places, even at festivals. Sometimes the venues provide chairs and blankets/cushions, otherwise you will be asked to bring your own  - where our bookings section below will clarify this either way.

Price includes a meal, either a supper to a barbecue (usually the latter, or if you are booking a Group Event you can choose either).

The Programme is outlined further below.

We perform mostly for Private/Corporate Groups, but we also sometimes run Public Events.

We sometimes run in the magical quaint towns of Cullinan and Parys, where we have bargain B&B rate options via our preferred partners here if you want to make your outing an escapist get-away stay over rather than returning home, because both towns & surround offer much to see & do (they also have special group & family rates).

If you are attending our production in another city, town or area, other than the 7 cities in which we usually run, the venue will be able to suggest accommodation venues to you, or have accommodation itself.

Booking details are below.

You and your guests must read our T's & C's here before purchasing tickets.

We perform for team-building, private parties (incl. hen & bachelor), birthdays, clients, staff, incentives, year end functions, product launches, conferences, clubs, hotels & tourism groups, anniversaries, etc..

We can perform at a venue of your own choice, even a yard at your own home, or we can suggest a venue to you.
Note that if you choose a venue not suggested by us, then the venue will need to have an indoor space in case it rains.

We can perform anywhere in the country, however very distant areas will require you to cover our travel, accommodation & breakfast costs for 2 people sharing (Mark and his assistant). Note: We do not mind staying with the organiser or one their guests (we love meeting new people and having fun).

Note that our theatrical production is like any other (eg: attending the rock opera 'The Phantom Of The Opera'), and thus we don't issue quotations, fill out vendor application, nor offer discounts or terms.

Programme

The evening is divided into three (3) acts, as described below, interspersed with two intervals (for you to top up your drinks, go to the toilet, and stretch your legs):

(1). Stories about your Mark's own paranormal experiences, and an outline of the science of the paranormal.

Interval

(2). Reading of classic South African country ghost stories, with some surprise eerie sound & visual effects (when least expected).

Interval

(3). The playing (over our sound system) of three (3) dramatically recorded stories, in old radio style (ie: 'theatre of the imagination'), with accompanying haunted music & chilling sound effects. One of the stories is about South Africa's most famous ghost, with more details than you ever knew before, and a new startling fact that you don't know about (yet).
