OVERVIEW
● We run for the Public and for Groups (team-building, birthdays (13th, 21st to 70th), staff, clients, bachelor/ettes, anniversaries, clubs, year end parties, etc.).
● This production runs as a Jaunt (cars
in convoy for the Public or Groups) or on a Bus (Groups
only).
● Due
to this unique production, and it only being held about twice a year
for the Public, people travel from afar, and tickets sell out
quickly.
●
You
can come on your own, although many people book in groups (usually 4
- 12 people).
●
Ages:
This is more of an adult production, but ages 6 & up are welcome.
●
Bring
Torch / Camera (or use your cell phone for both). And Pub Stop money/card.
●
Eat
& Drink at the Starting Point (Sunnyside Park Hotel).
●
Bring
a packet / bag, or picnic basket, or cooler bag with snacks & drinks
to enjoy along the tour
route.
● What to wear: Flat
walking shoes.

ABOUT
THE PRODUCTION
Starts with an Introduction at the Sunnyside Park Hotel (Holiday Inn) in Parktown, Johannesburg, where for over a century Johannesburg has taken centre-stage for crimes which shocked the nation.
Route with in and out of vehicle (car or bus) stories/venues: Two of the Stander Gang safe-houses (hide-outs, one is shown out of vehicle). Ponte Building Suicides, Murders, Drug Lords & Gangs (all in vehicle). Carlton Centre/Carlton Hotel Bombing and Dynamite Saga (in vehicle - we do NOT go downtown as it is unsafe). The Great Trust Bank Robbery (in vehicle). Poison Murderess, Daisy de Melker's house (in vehicle). The new Troyeville Hotel as a pub stop, with Ducktail Gang Murder (out of vehicle), with surprise effect. Kidnapping of Baby Micaela, Paedophile/Serial Killer Gert van Rooyen (both in vehicle). Kensington Ridge Viewpoint of Johannesburg with 'Laser Beam Crime Show', plus the story of the Foster Gang (plus view of their cave hide-out), plus three notorius male Serial-Killers (all out of vehicle, with gruesome murder prop). Murder of Bubbles Shroeder (in vehicle). And finally, the most curious 'Body-In-The-Lake Murder', with surprise horrific visual ending (out of vehicle).

Tours as "JAUNTS"
The Jaunts are not a self-drive, but instead a guided car convoy along an easy route, using your own car - like a fun car rally. Most people bring bags, picnic baskets or cooler boxes filled with snacks & drinks to enjoy along the way. At the out-of-the-car stops your host tells the stories in person at the major murder & crime venues. Between the major stops, a few short stories are given to you to read out aloud in your car from a script while passing by minor murder & crime venues (we give you the script before the Jaunt begins).

(2). Tours on a "BUS"
The bus only runs for GROUPS (Private / Corporate / Year End Parties). Your host reads various on-the-bus stories to you. You exit the bus for the major stops, where your host tells the stories outside the bus.
We provide three (3) bus sizes as follows, and only in Johannesburg and Pretoria:
20 Seater: Maximum 20 persons. Minimum 15 persons.
34 Seater: Maximum 34 persons. Minimum 21 persons.
57 Seater: Maximum 57 persons. Minimum 35 persons.
Important: If you don't have the correct amount of Minimum
Persons for each of the above, you still need to pay for the equivalent
of the Minimum Persons above, otherwise you can join one of our
"Jaunts" for the Public mentioned above under point (1), where you don't need Minimum Persons.
